Dear CBC Members, Partners & Friends.
We are proud to share a 9-minute video report — “Making Dreams Come True” — capturing the spirit, passion, and progress of our recent CBC activities and milestones across continents. From new beginnings in Haikou to the building of our Clean Hydrogen Ecosystem in Morocco, this short film embodies what it means to turn vision into action — and dreams into reality.
Watch our 9-minute video report, “Making Dreams Come True,” below!
The past months have been a vibrant and inspiring period for our Club, filled with meaningful action across continents — from Romania and Australia to Bali and Cambodia — culminating just yesterday in the conclusion of our 2nd CBC Mission to China and participation as the Strategic Partner in the remarkable SNEC H2 & ES 2025 together with our CBC Chair for Cambodia, His Royal Highness Prince of Cambodia Narithipong Norodom. One of the most historic moments was the initiatory meeting in Haikou, Hainan, marking the birth of the CBC Global CleanTech Special Economic & Free Trade Zones Initiative.
Building the CBC Clean Hydrogen Ecosystem for Morocco and Africa
A dream is turning into reality.Only eleven months after the signing of the MoU between École Hassania des Travaux Publics (EHTP), Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co. (Guofuhee), and Go For Hydrogen Africa (GFHA), the first clean hydrogen system for the Joint Center of Excellence in Clean Hydrogen is now on its way to Casablanca.
In recent days, during our visit to Zhangjiagang, we also signed a second purchase agreement — this time dedicated to the hospitality sector — for a pioneering system that will power the first clean hydrogen residence within a hotel and resort ever built on the African continent.

The Joint Center of Excellence in Clean Hydrogen, located on the EHTP campus in Casablanca, is designed to position Morocco as a regional and global leader in clean hydrogen innovation — the first cornerstone of the CBC Clean Hydrogen Ecosystem in Africa. This visionary project is powered by CBC and its Partners Consortium, united under our shared motto: #TogetherWeAreStronger
We are delighted to announce that the official opening of the Center will take place in December 2025, alongside the launch of EHTP’s Executive Master in Clean Energy and Hydrogen, developed in partnership with CBC, GFHA, and Coreas High-Tech.
To celebrate this defining milestone, the 8th CBC Annual Leadership Forum will also be relocated from Bilbao to Casablanca, bringing together CBC Leaders and Partners from around the world to share this historic moment together.

CBC Mission to China & SNEC H2 & ES 2025
This year’s SNEC edition marked another leap forward in the strong partnership between SNEC, ACWA Power, and CBC.During the conference and gala, we proudly inaugurated two groundbreaking initiatives:
The 1st Global Clean Hydrogen Hackathon, and
The 1st Global StorageVersity Innovation Challenge
Their calls for submissions will open officially in November and we will announce the dates during the Renewable Energy India Expo (REI), and on the occasion of the 15th Dii Leadership Summit in Dubai, we will launch the next edition of the World CleanTech StartUPs Awards, featuring the ACWA Power Innovation Challenge.
The Award Ceremonies for all three competitions will take place during ACWA Power Innovation Days 2026 in Riyadh, alongside a series of joint CBC activities — including the CBC High-Level Dinner hosted by H.R.H. Prince Nari. This event will be followed by the CBC Business Mission to Bahrain, where we will unveil Cleanvestree, our dynamic CBC Business Arm Ecosystem.
Empowering Leadership on the Global Stage
At SNEC H2 & ES Conference:
Leiliang Kobayashi and Justin Gu joined the High-Level Leaders Panel.
Mikaa Mered-Blogeon presented the key findings of our upcoming book Quo Vadis Clean Hydrogen.
Madadh MacLaine represented both the Zero Emission Ship Technology Association and our CBC Maritime Hub.
During the Gala Evening, we experienced deeply moving moments — launching the Solar Schools Program in Cambodia with Prince Nari, and paying heartfelt tribute to the legacy of our beloved friend Dr. Jane Goodall, whose wisdom continues to inspire us all.
At our 300 m² TV Leadership Stage, we celebrated global collaboration, announced strategic partnerships, and launched the CBC Global CleanTech Golf Clubs Alliance, chaired by Prince Nari and inspired by Mostafa Boulal, our CBC Chair for Morocco.
We also proudly announced that our CBC China Headquarters will be located within the Mi Yue Global New Energy Empower Center, near Hongqiao Airport in Shanghai.

Our journey concluded in Haikou, the vibrant heart of Hainan Island, where I am deeply honoured to serve as the first Investment Promotion Ambassador of Longhua District — the island’s business, financial, and cultural hub.
Here, we are launching both the CBC Global CleanTech Islands Alliance and the CBC Global CleanTech Special Economic & Free Trade Zones Initiative, whose annual forum will also be hosted in Haikou. We will additionally establish the CBC Agriculture & Food Industries Hub’s Global Headquarters on the island, and continue supporting CBC Members and Partners wishing to develop business operations here, in collaboration with Sinomach Hainan, led by our long-time friend Mr. Jibo Cai.
