The CleanTech Business Club (CBC) proudly announces its expansion into Switzerland by welcoming Kilian Wehrli, CEO of KWenergy GmbH, as the newly appointed CBC Chair for Switzerland. Kilian will lead CBC’s activities in the country and serve as a catalyst for CleanTech transformation, leveraging his two decades of innovation and leadership in the solar, energy, and electromobility sectors.

Meet Kilian Wehrli – Our New CBC Chair for Switzerland

Kilian Wehrli, born in 1975, brings over two decades of experience in solar technology, electromobility, automation, and mechanical engineering.

As the Founder and CEO of KWenergy GmbH, he has developed major innovations such as Tentasolar®️ and pantograph-based charging systems for e-bus depots. His engineering journey has included leadership roles at Smartvolt, SolarMax, Furrer+Frey, and Mikron Assembly Technology – both in Switzerland and the USA.

With a Bachelor in Microtechnology from Berner Fachhochschule Biel and a background as a mechanical engineer, Kilian has always combined technical mastery with entrepreneurial spirit.

His international outlook, hands-on innovation, and commitment to sustainability make him an ideal CBC leader to spearhead activities in Switzerland and represent CBC in global fora.
