The CleanTech Business Club (CBC) proudly participated in the Global Water Summit 2025 in Paris, reinforcing our commitment to accelerating a sustainable future for the water sector through cross-sector collaboration and bold leadership.

One of the summit highlights was the participation of Thomas Altmann, Chief Innovation Officer at ACWA Power and Chair of the CBC Clean Water Hub, in a High-Level Leadership Panel focused on The Future of Desalination.
His insights emphasized the game-changing potential of green desalination, powered by renewables and clean hydrogen, as a scalable solution to global water scarcity.
At CBC, we believe that real transformation happens when visionary sectors unite. That’s the foundation of our Clean Water Hub — a unique platform where CleanTech, Hydrogen, and Water intersect to drive systemic change.
Why This Convergence Matters Now:
💧 Clean Water Needs a Revolution – We must evolve from a traditional water sector to a Clean Water Industry, integrated with clean energy and hydrogen innovation.
💡 Trillions in Opportunity – Water, CleanTech, and Hydrogen collectively represent multi-trillion-dollar opportunities that can redefine sustainability when strategically aligned.
🔬 Technology as a Catalyst – CleanTech and hydrogen solutions boost efficiency, attract investment, and inspire innovation across the water value chain.
🌊 Green Desalination – A transformative solution for water-stressed regions, making clean water both accessible and sustainable.
🤝 Partnerships with Leaders like ACWA Power – These alliances are accelerating the deployment of impactful solutions on a global scale.
🌍 Access for All – Clean water and energy are basic human rights—and CBC is committed to making them a global reality.
What’s Next: Clean Water: The Multi-Trillion Blueprint
Following our engagement, we launched “Clean Water: The Multi-Trillion Blueprint” (CWB) – a bold, joint initiative uniting global leaders from the Water, CleanTech, and Hydrogen sectors to co-develop a forward-looking Roadmap+.
This visionary project aims to redefine how the world manages, treats, and values water, positioning clean water as a central pillar of global sustainability strategies and investment agendas.
In October, during SNEC H2 & ES in Shanghai, we will officially unveil the CWB Experts Board and Strategic Partners, marking the beginning of the roadmap’s implementation and the rollout of this transformative global collaboration.
🌍 CBC’s 2025 Clean Water Agenda: Uniting Clean Water, Clean Hydrogen & CleanTech Leaders with Innovators, Investors, and Strategic Sectors
