CBC Strengthens Gulf Advisory Team, Welcomes Mohammad Awais to Better Support Regional Energy Majors and Local Authorities in CleanTech, Clean Hydrogen and Clean Water Transformation

We are pleased to announce that Mohammad Awais, Sales Account Executive at Aspen Technology and a seasoned energy sector professional based in Bahrain, has joined the CleanTech Business Club (CBC) Leadership Family as our Special Business Advisor for the Gulf Region.

With over 15 years of cross-sector expertise—spanning Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream—Mohammad brings a strong background in strategic project management, operational excellence, and digital innovation. As a PMP and RMP-certified leader, he has spearheaded numerous multi-million-dollar initiatives, most notably as Country Manager at SPETCO, where he achieved 40% revenue growth and tripled net profit in 2022.

His remarkable track record in the oil and gas industry positions him as a key catalyst for CBC’s mission: to guide Energy Majors and Local Authorities through their CleanTech, Clean Hydrogen, and Clean Water transformations. His fluency in data-driven strategies, digital transformation, and sustainable operations aligns perfectly with CBC’s vision of building a resilient, future-ready energy ecosystem.

Strategically based in Bahrain, Mohammad will play a vital role in expanding CBC’s presence across the Gulf, fostering impactful partnerships with industry leaders and governmental stakeholders, and contributing to policy frameworks that enable a more sustainable and diversified energy future.

Bahrain: Home of Cleanvestree, CBC’s Business Hub for the Middle East

CBC has selected the Kingdom of Bahrain as the headquarters for Cleanvestree, the operational arm of the Club. Based in Manama, Cleanvestree offers a comprehensive suite of global business solutions, and serves as the CBC Business Hub for the Middle East. From this strategic location, Cleanvestree drives regional and international growth while working closely with local partners to align economic progress with environmental responsibility.

“At the CleanTech Business Club, we believe that the coming years are pivotal for Gulf countries and their Energy Majors as they work to diversify and transform their economies through CleanTech and other disruptive technologies.

We are here—together with our Members and Partners who pioneered the cleantech revolution decades ago and now lead the transformation—to assist the region in this critical journey.

Having Mohammad Awais on our Leadership Team as Special Business Advisor for the Gulf Region will help us realize this shared goal,”

said Tomasz Slusarz, Founder & Vision Streamliner at CBC.
