CBC CarbonX Hub Launches the 1st Global Carbon Markets Forum at REI 2025 & The Battery Show India: Bridging Carbon Markets with CleanTech, Clean Hydrogen & Clean Water

The 1st Global Carbon Markets Forum — Global & India Perspectives, powered by the CBC CarbonX Hub, took place at Renewable Energy India Expo 2025, marking a major milestone in connecting carbon markets with CleanTech, Clean Hydrogen, and Clean Water strategies.

The Forum began with an introduction by the CleanTech Business Club (CBC), on “Why Carbon Markets, CleanTech, Clean Hydrogen & Clean Water Make Sense Together.”

This was followed by the Keynote Address by Avantika Gupta, Head of Carbon Markets & Sustainability at Advait and Co-Chair of CBC CarbonX Hub (In Charge of India), titled:

“Carbon Markets as a Catalyst for Global Net Zero — From Global Frameworks to India’s Leadership.”

The session continued with the Inaugural High-Level Panel Discussion on “Global-Local Synergies in Carbon Trading & Climate Finance”, moderated by Avantika Gupta, with Tomasz Slusarz as Co-Moderator.

Why CBC is involved:

The CleanTech Business Club (CBC) launched this initiative together with Advait, pioneering a new approach to carbon credit integration to enhance market adoption for CBC Members and partners. This initiative will integrate carbon credits into CleanTech, Clean Water, and Clean Hydrogen strategies as additional selling points — creating new revenue streams for CBC’s targeted critical industries, including Energy Majors, Mining & Utilities, Infrastructure & Heavy Industry, Construction, Architecture & Hospitality, Maritime, Aerospace, Food & Agriculture, and the AI & Digital Industry.

Partners will jointly offer “Cleanvestree Carbon Trade Advisory, Powered by Advait”, providing expert guidance to CBC Members and Partners worldwide.

Soon, CBC will release the full content of this Kick-Off Forum and host a global virtual follow-up conference to dive deeper into the opportunities and mechanisms driving the future of carbon markets, CleanTech, and climate finance.
