The 8th CBC Global Ecosystems Leadership Days
From Morocco to Global Deployment — Building Intelligent, Future-Proof Ecosystems at Scale
📅 12–16 May 2026 | Morocco
A Strategic Milestone — From Vision to Execution
The 8th CBC Global Ecosystems Leadership Days marks a defining milestone in the evolution of the CleanTech Business Club — building on over 20 years of trusted H2H relationships and, together with its trusted partners, enabling the development and deployment of real clean hydrogen, cleantech and clean water ecosystems.
This is not a traditional event.
It is the starting point of a long-term journey — from pilot projects to full ecosystem deployment, built in the spirit of #TogetherWeAreStronger.
Morocco — The First Flagship Ecosystem
Morocco is the first country where CBC, together with its trusted local partners — including EHTP, GFHA and Coreas High-Tech and international partners including Guofu Hydrogen, — is enabling the implementation of its Global Ecosystem Architecture in practice.
This initiative is designed to complement and strengthen existing national efforts, connecting international expertise with local capabilities to accelerate clean hydrogen, cleantech and clean water development.
A key milestone is the Grand Opening of the Joint Center of Excellence in Clean Hydrogen at EHTP (École Hassania des Travaux Publics) marking the transition from concept to real implementation.
A Platform for Co-Creation, Partnerships and Deployment
At the heart of the programme is the Inaugural Global Clean Hydrogen, CleanTech & Water Ecosystems Forum – Casablanca, designed as a long-term global platform bringing together decision-makers, industry leaders and partners to co-create and implement ecosystems.
The Leadership Days also include exclusive partner activities (14–15 May) to strengthen relationships and alignment, as well as the CBC CleanTech Leaders Golf Invitational (16 May), expanding the ecosystem beyond traditional circles and opening new collaboration opportunities.
A Shared Journey — #TogetherWeAreStronger
The 8th CBC Global Ecosystems Leadership Days is not a traditional conference.
It is a platform for co-creation, alignment and execution.
It is an invitation to partners who share the conviction that:
-
meaningful transformation happens together
-
ecosystems must be built collaboratively
-
and long-term impact requires trust, commitment and execution
From H2H trust to execution — building future-proof ecosystems together.

Historical MOU on Establishing the Joint Center of Excellence for Clean Hydrogen in Morocco

“The inauguration of the Joint Center of Excellence in Clean Hydrogen at (École Hassania des Travaux Publics (EHTP) represents an important first step in positioning Morocco at the forefront of the global clean hydrogen, cleantech and clean water transformation.
It lays the foundation for the next phase — the development of an Applied Research and Innovation Platform at EHTP, designed to build Morocco’s own R&D footprint in close collaboration with leading international institutes, industry laboratories and global partners.
Through the development of advanced research programmes, doctoral initiatives, engineering programs and executive education, we aim to strengthen high-level capacity building and develop the next generation of talent, enabling Morocco not only to adopt technologies, but to actively shape and lead innovation at continental and global level.”
Prof. Jaouad Boutahar, Director at École Hassania des Travaux Publics (EHTP), Morocco
CBC Co-Chair of Clean Water Hub (In Charge of R&D and Academia Ecosystem)

About the Gala Dinner
The CBC & GFHA Black-Tie Gala Dinner is the flagship gathering of the CBC ecosystem, built over more than a decade across continents, where the Human-to-Human (H2H) spirit comes to life.
This edition marks the second CBC Black-Tie gathering in Morocco, following our Black-Tie Dinner in Marrakesh — where we began building our leadership family in the Kingdom of Morocco, in the spirit of #TogetherWeAreStronger.
It reflects what CBC truly is — not just a network, but a global leadership family of visionary leaders and doers, united by a shared passion to create real impact.
The evening will feature the World CleanTech Awards (WCA), honouring pioneers shaping the future, and the World CleanTech StartUPs Awards (WCSA), recognising the next generation of innovators — celebrating both legacy and innovation within one ecosystem.
We are honoured that Prof. Eicke R. Weber, Chair of WCA and Honorary Chair of WCSA, will personally deliver the awards, further reinforcing the global significance of this moment.
#TogetherWeAreStronger

“The opening of the Joint Center of Excellence in Clean Hydrogen marks a pivotal first step in the clean hydrogen transformation of Morocco and the African continent. While the long-term vision is ambitious — with Morocco potentially requiring up to 50 GW of electrolyser capacity and Africa over 100 GW — we believe that even the greatest transformations begin step by step.
This is our approach: starting with concrete implementation and, together with strong international and local partners, progressively scaling towards larger industrial ecosystems.
Morocco has a unique opportunity to become a continental hub for clean hydrogen and cleantech, combining production, manufacturing and innovation.
This transformation is not about competition, but about collaboration — and by working together, we can accelerate impact and create long-term value for Morocco and Africa. #TogetherWeAreStronger.”
Mostafa Boulal, CEO at Go For Hydrogen Africa (GFHA)
CBC Co-Chair for Morocco; CBC Co-Chair of Clean Water Hub (In Charge of Africa)
CEO at COREAS High-Tech
Detailed Agenda
13 May 2026 (Day 2)
The Inaugural Global CleanTech, Clean Hydrogen, & Clean Water Ecosystems Forum – Casablanca
Future-Proofing Intelligent Ecosystems Through Innovation, AI and Global Collaboration
Co-hosted by CBC & EHTP
Venue: EHTP Campus, Casablanca (Conference Room + B2B Area)
Time: 09:30 – 17:30 (TBC)
Dress Code: Business Elegant
RSVP Policy: Request VIP Invitation

The Global Clean Hydrogen, CleanTech & Water Ecosystems Forum – Casablanca is designed as a long-term annual platform to unite stakeholders across sectors and geographies — from Morocco and Africa to the global stage.
Morocco has been selected as the first CBC flagship ecosystem, with the ambition to develop a world-class reference model demonstrating how #TogetherWeAreStronger collaboration can translate vision into real implementation. In this context, the Forum is not a one-off event, but a platform that will follow progress, support ecosystem development, and continuously connect Morocco with global partners and other emerging regions.
Co-hosted with École Hassania des Travaux Publics (EHTP), a leading engineering academic institution, the Forum highlights the critical role of innovation and academia–industry collaboration in accelerating clean hydrogen, cleantech and clean water transformation.
Bringing together leaders from industry, government, finance and innovation, the Forum focuses on advancing clean hydrogen, cleantech and clean water markets, enabling off-takers and financing, and developing integrated ecosystems across energy, water, storage and AI.
Through strategic discussions, technology showcases and key initiative launches — including the CBC Clean Hydrogen Off-Takers Hub — the Forum aims to align efforts, strengthen partnerships and ignite coordinated action.
We believe that by working hand in hand, and leveraging the power of AI and digitalisation, this platform can play a catalytic role in accelerating the transformation towards intelligent, future-proof ecosystems.
